Artist Sam Mahon has made a sculpture of MP Nick Smith out of cow manure, called ‘Nick Smith in the shit’. It’s actually very good, he’s a talented man is Sam, wonder what Nick thinks of it? Anyway the piece is up for auction on trademe (check out the link) and currently the bidding’s at around $3000 - not bad! Have a listen to why exactly Sam chose this material and hear him have a dig at art schools as well, it’s great stuff.
