Richard didn't know but the Irish International News rated his shop number 7 in the world of second hand book stores! So we had to find out more, what makes this shop so great? We got hold of Father Glynn Cardy from St. Matthews in the City up there in Aucklandtown this morning in relation to that controversial billboard they erected yesterday, which was then promptly defaced a few hours later. The reason for the billboard was to encourage talk about the real story behind Christmas but the media loves this stuff, Christians stirring shit up, then other denominations attacking the Anglicans... sounds like screenplay with Mel Gibson playing the antagonist or something. Geoff Christopher is New Zealand's monopoly champion. He recently competed in the world champs at Caeser's Palace in Las Vegas so we had a chat to see what makes someone a great player - it's got to be more than just lucky rolling of the dice. Monopoly is infamous as the game that ruins friendships and breaks up families, and I know for certain that Spanky has played a few games where one of the players has overthrown the board in a fit of rage, he plays rough does Spank.

This festival/competition/convention/olympic style event is kicking off on the 28th Dec and runs for 10 days, so if you’re heading up to the Capital don’t be shocked to see guys and gals careening around the waterfront on monocycles. Sounds like an interesting gig, but don’t be fooled by the stereotypes, they’re not all carny jugglers.

One man has had enough of the myth and wants to catch this beast, silencing skeptics nationwide once and for all, all with the help of a tasty goat and rusty cage. High country farmer David Wightman has taken up the challenge and we had a chat with him this morning to learn more about this exotic cat that no one has any proof of or has left any signs of existence at all.

We kicked the week off right in the balls today with a plethora of brilliant guests covering topics such as offensive humour, hair loss, movie review and atheism - try and link those! First off the rank was Mr. Brendon Davies-Patrick who made a documentary on offensive humour in New Zealand. Jokes with minorities as the butt are probably the most common, and I would imagine most people have had some experience with them whether it be hearing or telling. Apparently you can tell the condition of a person's heart by how they respond to a joke...

I have to tell you something, I'm going bald. My father has basically lost all of his hair and I'm heading the same way. Hair loss is something that a lot of dudes and some chicks experience and really, once it has begun it's a touch road trying to battle this condition. Some times I'm cool with it, I mean what are you going to do? Other days I feel it can really affect my confidence, but luckily radio doesn't generally call for a flawless appearance. Anyhoo, we spoke to our medical herbalist Sam McSorley about how one can treat hair loss and if it's preventable. Oh, AND if she thinks bald men are sexy.

One other man who’s been subtly fucked is Josh from Sleepy Age. Infact the whole band’s had a bit of a rogering, someone nicked a bunch of their gear. Bastardo! But Josh managed to scrape together a guitar from somewhere and came into the studio for a wee song because Sleepy Age are playing at RDUltide tomorrow night at Goodbye Blue Monday.
